Hi. I'm Elli. Sometimes people call me Elle. But either way.

I like stuff...yeah. And I hate people. A lot. Except on the internet. I have a lot more internet friends than "in real life" friends. But I'm cool with that.

Some people say I'm snarky and hard to get along with, but if you can't deal with that, I think you're just lame. I like to talk in caps for pretty much no reason A LOT. If that bothers you, you should probably never get in a conversation with me.

I'm pretty proficient with the English language. My grammar is better than most of the people in my college class...and I'm younger than most of them (I've had less schooling, is what I mean).

I enjoy parodies (cleolinda is a good one) and I love parody icons.

My favorite author is Neil Gaiman. Favorite colors are grey, red, black, and white. My favorite superhero is either Wolverine, Storm, or Jean Grey. Obviously, I love Marvel comics. The only exception to this is the Batman franchise (Harley Quinn, ftw).

I listen to more music than you can probably list off the top of your head. My Chemical Romance, Say Anything, tooL, A Perfect Circle, Mindless Self Indulgence, Paramore, Taking Back Sunday, Creature Feature, the Dresden Dolls, the Killers, Morningwood, Cobra Starship, the Academy Is..., Static-X, Alanis Morrisette, Armor for Sleep, blink-182, Brand New, Bright Eyes, the Cure, Eisley, Flyleaf, the Used, Rise Against, Misfits, Death Cab for Cutie, the Doors, Jimi Hendrix, H.I.M., Garbage, Green Day, Gym Class Heroes, HelloGoodbye, Iron Maiden, JET, Linkin Park, Marilyn Manson, Meg & Dia, Pink Floyd, Motion City Soundtrack, Nine Inch Nails, Rammstein, the Police, Punchline, Scooter, Seether, Senses Fail, She Wants Revenge, Slipknot, Shiny Toy Guns, Silverstein, Snow Patrol, Something Corporate and Three Days Grace are just a few of the many bands I listen to.

I also enjoy musicals. I've seen Wicked live on Broadway, actually. My favorites are Wicked, Phantom of the Opera, Mamma Mia!, Sweeney Todd, Repo! The Genetic Opera, and the Nightmare Before Christmas.

Books are a must for me. I love Neil Gaiman, Anne Rice, Stephen King, and Gregory Maguire. Favorite series are Harry Potter, The Chronicles of Narnia (I love how spellcheck doesn't underline Narnia. *giggle), The Princess Diaries, and a couple of others. I will admit that I like Twilight, though I realize how absolutely awfully written it is.

Video games. Oh, yes. I love Gears of War and Bioshock, seriously. I used to be a Nintendo freak, but since the Wii, I've totally gone to the xBox 360 side. Silent Hill, Kingdom Hearts and Dance Dance Revolution also occupy my shelves.

I'm not even going to begin with the amount of movies I love. Really, there's way too many. I love Disney movies, haha. I'm such a kid. To put it in a short list, I have bought (myself, my family's collection is much, much bigger) Clueless, 10 Things I Hate About You, Repo! The Genetic Opera, Underworld, the X-Men trilogy, Ultraviolet, Sweeney Todd, Chicago and Transformers.

So, that's about it. I don't write in this journal often, but I might start up more. I used to just have this journal so I could go and comment on people's icons and parodies, but maybe I'll start doing my own bit of that (icons and parody journals, I mean).
